Now that you have probably already learned how to create your first folder, this section describes how to add a new list. There are different ways to do this.
Creating new lists from the home screen
On the start page, click on the “+” tile in the folder to which you want to add the list.
A new dialog will open where you can freely choose whether you want to create a new list from scratch, import from CSV, Trello, Asana or Wunderlist, download a template or even create our tutorial list. You can also use the search bar at the top of this window to search for the desired list type.
Import a list
If you want to import data from another source, click "Import" from the drop-down menu. You can then choose to import from Trello, Wunderlist, Asana, via calendar sync or directly from a CSV.
Create new list from a template
To use a template to create a new list, choose "Templates and Turorials " from the drop-down menu. This will take you to our templates center, where you can browse through and choose from a variety of templates. To start using a template, simply click the "Use This Template" button. Creating new lists via the navigation panel
Of course, you can also create new lists via the navigation panel. To do this, select the "+" symbol either when the panel is open or collapsed.
Here you can now see the full range of options that you can create in Zenkit. In addition to lists, you can also upload documents, create items and tasks, start an import and much more.
There are different types of lists in Zenkit so that you can create the optimal type of organization for your items and tasks. However, you must be able to select the specific list type when creating it via the navigation panel. You can find out exactly what list types are and how you can further customize them here.
