Upgrading your Zenkit account allows you to unlock enhanced features, collaborate with more users, and manage more data across various Zenkit products. Whether you're using Zenkit, To Do, Zenchat, Zenforms, or Hypernotes, the upgrade process remains consistent across these platforms. Here's a detailed guide on how to navigate through the interface and successfully upgrade your account.



To begin the upgrade process, you'll first need to access your subscription settings. Start by clicking on your profile icon, which you'll find in the bottom left corner of the collapsed navigation panel or at the very top of the expanded panel. This action will open the settings menu. Once in the settings, locate the "Subscription" option under the "Organization" section and click on it to proceed.



In the subscription section, you'll have the opportunity to review your current usage details. By clicking on "Usage," you can see an overview of your plan’s quotas, including information on members, workspaces, files, and other resources. For a more detailed analysis, you can click on specific categories such as “Members” or “Files” to manage these resources effectively.

Once you have a clear understanding of your current usage, you can move on to selecting an upgrade plan. By clicking the “Upgrade your organization now” button, you'll be able to explore the various plans available. At this stage, you can choose between monthly or annual payment options, as well as your preferred currency. There is a small discount if you choose the yearly option. Each plan has distinct features and benefits, so take your time reviewing them to find the one that best suits your needs.



After selecting a plan, you'll need to enter your payment information and billing details. On the right side of the payment screen, you’ll notice an option to select the number of seats you wish to purchase. It’s important to remember that each seat represents one user. For instance, if you plan to collaborate with three other users, you’ll need to purchase four seats in total, including one for yourself.


Fill in the name and email address that should be used as a billing contact if it differs from your Zenkit account name and email. This is the email address that invoices and other subscription information will be sent.Fill in the billing address and ensure that if your company is registered within the EU, you include your VAT number so that you will not be charged value-added tax on your subscription. According to the local laws, German users will always be charged the value-added tax (MwSt), non-EU international users will never be charged added tax.



Before finalizing the purchase, it’s crucial to review all the information you’ve entered. This is also the point where you can apply any discount codes you may have. After ensuring that everything is correct, click “Pay & subscribe” to complete the transaction. Your new subscription will be activated immediately, granting your team access to the upgraded features and additional quotas according to the plan you selected.


When upgrading, it’s important to consider the impact on quotas and resource management. Upgrading increases your account’s limits, such as the number of members, workspaces, and storage capacity. These enhanced quotas apply to the resources you own within Zenkit, so it’s essential to manage them effectively to maximize the benefits of your new plan.
