For user-defined automations, it is possible to create a filter your triggers. This makes it possible to specify tasks with specific conditions.

Follow the steps described here to get to the menu for creating a custom automation.

Once you are in the automation window, select "+ Create custom automation". Give the automation your desired name. Additionally, you can add a description in the "Description" field. Describe the function of the automation in more detail.

Open the "Triggers" drop-down menu and select "When a task matches a filter". A window will open again, where you can add further settings for the trigger.

Decide on the project in which the automation should apply.

Once you have decided on a project, you can add filter conditions. Automations triggered by filter conditions can either be applied to new tasks or take effect when changes are made.

New tasks

Since the automation should be applied to any new task, you do not need to create a filter to "From". Therefore, you can add conditions directly for "To". Therefore, you can directly add conditions for "To". For example, if you want to collect all the "leads" that receive the German label in a separate collection, proceed as follows:

Once you have added the conditions, click "Done". Then, back in the menu of the trigger, select "Save".

Now you can select the desired action.

In our example case, we want another task to be created in another project. You can then add custom fields to it.

When you have added all the necessary fields, click "Add". Don't worry, you can still add and edit more tasks in the new project afterwards.

Changed Tasks

For tasks whose conditions are changed, triggering automation, the steps are exactly the same as those described above. You just add another filter to "From". Here, as an example, a task is moved from "To be processed" to "In process".

Next, in a separate project, we want to create a task called "Proofread" that is due in exactly one week. It is also possible to set the due date to the time of the trigger.

Once your desired fields and conditions have been added to the automation, click Add.
